There are a variety of ways you can hang your item.
The hammocks, frames and accessories are imported from various countries including Brazil, Mexico, Nicaragua and China.
The majority of our hammocks and hammock chairs are made from export grade 100% cotton, although we also stock nylon hammocks and mixed % material selections. The frames are either constructed from steel or wood. Please view each items product description for specific information.
Mexican hammocks are an open weave style and made from 100% cotton string fabric. The Brazilian style hammocks consist of a solid piece of cotton fabric. Both hammock styles are very comfortable, so you have to decide on the style that best reflects your use for the hammock while taking into account the environment it will be positioned in.

The universal frames are generally designed for both the Mexican and the Brazilian double and queen hammocks.

Both chairs hang from one point, and are generally suited to smaller areas. The hammock chairs contour to your body shape. The sofa chairs come with additional padded foam inside the material, which adds to the comfort and support.

The colours listed on each product page are the only colours available for that particular hammock / hammock chair/sofa / accessory.
You can contact us directly about the item as it may just be temporarily out of stock. Alternatively, you can check back again at a later date of suitable.
The standard currency for items on Buy Hammocks Online is Australian Dollar (AUD). Yes, prices include 10% GST.
Unfortunately, this is not possible unless contact is made with us immediately. If the order has not been processed and / or shipped out, then it may be possible to modify the order. Contact us here if you need to change your order.
Generally, when we recieve a duplicate order from our online store, we will contact you to see if the order was made in error. Please contact us/respond to us ASAP if this is the case. We are not responsible for duplicate orders, or orders made in error of judgment, but we will try to rectify the issue for you.
We accept PayPal and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). We will only process and send the order once full payment has been received from you, the customer. However, if we receive a chargeback from your bank, the items delivered to you remains the property of BuyHammocksOnline.com.au until full payment is made to us. If the payment is not received within 30 days, we reserve the right to send your details to a debt collection agency, where any additional costs related to this process will be at cost to you, the customer. But we would rather not go down that path, so please contact us as soon as possible if this is the case.
Yes, you should receive this along with the order upon delivery. If in the event that you do not receive this and would like a copy, please contact us.
All data, including credit card details are not stored on our secure servers. We respect your privacy, and all of your details are processed through PayPal or another Payment Gateway (if applicable). We are not involved in any way the exchange or selling of your details or credit card information to others.
No. Full payment must be received before the item is shipped to you.
No. All products / items must be shipped via the manufacturer depot.
As it currently stands, we only offer shipping within Australia. Products equal or over AUD$35 are shipped free of charge to all capital cities within Australia. Please view Delivery and Returns for more information.
Couriers may vary according to the order size and particular item that you have ordered. We use Australia Post, Toll Ipec, Fastway Couriers, Star Track and Hunter Express. You will receive confirmation of your courier and the tracking number(s) for your items when the item(s) have been processed and collected by the courier.
No, we no longer accept PO Boxes or military addresses.
This is up to the couriers discretion, we have no control over this, however, as a general rule, you will need to be home to collect the delivery. If items are sent via Australia Post, you will most likely be left a card to collect your order from the nearest postal office/depot. We are not responsible for any lost or undelivered items.
If item(s) are sent via Australia Post, you will most likely be left a card you can use to collect your order from your nearest Postal Office. If item(s) are sent by Toll, they will also leave a card with their contact details on it to arrange for another time to deliver the item(s).
Most couriers will not leave the item(s) without a signature from the person who ordered the item(s). If, in the event that you provide instructions to the courier that you would like them to leave the item(s) at the door if unattended, and the courier complies, we accept no liability for loss or theft of the item(s) as there was no signature. We recommend you be home to collect the item(s) to avoid disappointment and loss.
We are under no obligation to replace any items that have been damaged by the courier companies, however, we are reasonable human beings, and may replace the items on a case by case basis, we will require photographic evidence of the damage. Please contact us as soon as possible if your item(s) have arrived with damage.
As Australia is a very large country, and due to the fact that we send items from multiple warehouses, it is a considerable task to try and calculate how long each delivery will take. Please see the product page for more delivery information and delivery times.
Please be aware that there may be unexpected and unforeseen circumstances that may affect delivery times and warehouse dispatch. Please allow up to 3 days for dispatch from the warehouse from time of order, and up to 7 days before contacting us.
In the event that you do not receive your order within 10 days from the time of order, please contact us here. We will help to locate your item(s).
Warranty, Returns and Exchanges
Yes, all the products sold on this website come with a warranty. If not stated in the product listing, a one year warranty on all materials and workmanship from time of sale is the default warranty. Claims can be rejected if we find the issue/fault is a result of misuse on your behalf, for example if the hammock has been left out doors under direct sunlight or rain. Please contact us if you feel the issue is not your fault and is within the 1 year of sale.

To claim the 1 year warranty, please contact us here. Please accurately describe the product fault in the comments section. You may be required to cut bits off the product and mail it to us / our respective item depot, or send the entire item back to us for an inspection on our end.
No. Warranty will continue to be from the purchase date.
No, warranty transfer is not possible. If we find that warranty claim information provided to us is false or falsified in any way, we maintain the right to cancel your warranty.
